Pow #4:
Process for football
Conclusion for Football
Jason Awesome game
- I wrote all the number from 1 until 30 in a line. Then I crosses out any number that a FG or a TD the the two of those don’t add up. For example 3+3=6 so I kept that number but no combination of FG + TD can equal 4, so I crossed it out.
Conclusion for Football
- I think the impossible is the number 7 because 3 is the smallest unit of score. Since 3+3=6 the next smallest number you can make with only 3’s is 3+3+3=9. Seven is not possible.
- We tried an alternative system with a 4 for FG and a 3 for TD and we found out that you can only score on an even number and there is no highest impossible score.
- One extension would be to have three different types of scores. Maybe some scores could be negative.
Jason Awesome game
- We tried FTL is = 3 and basket = 2 what we found that was the highest impossible score was 1. All other number are possible.
- In my process I actually tested scoring with two odd numbers two even numbers, and one even and one odd. All these combination gave very different result to finding the highest impossible number.
