1. Which project did you have the most personal connection with this year? Why?
The movie Project blc we made a movie about were I liked to eat and I really connected to that
2. What have you learned (skill, lesson, or knowledge) this year that will be most helpful for you in the
The skills I’ve learned this year that I will use further in the future is TEA paragraphs (This Is, Evidence, Analysis) I found this method esser to write a good essay.
3. What project or projects have you done this year that have inspired you to want to learn more? Explain
The teacher creature project blc I liked making something mine and original it felt good to have something that no one might ever make.
4. How has your attitude toward learning changed this year?
I feel that throughout I had a strong work ethic that didn’t change d the year went on. There was some bumped and some easy part. But I did my work and and fun doing it.
5. What connections have you made this year between what you have learned in your classes and your
The connections I’ve made this year was math I found that lauren was a really good teach. I never felt bored in her class and if I was she would find something for me to do. I enjoyed that class all year around.
6. How have your learning and experiences at AHS this year changed the way you see the world?
I feel that my experience at Animas have opened my eyes and how I see my durango school. now I have experience at two project based learning school.
7. What work from this year would you like to look back on and remember when you are a graduating
What I would look back on is the rocket project I would remember that the most because I like aeronautics and how they work. I want to be a pilot when I grow up so this project helped my understand aeronautic more.
You as a Student and a Learner (Your Work and Your Work Habits)
1. What is the most important change that you have made as a learner this year?
The most important thing I changed as a learner was writing I use to be really bad but when I came to Animas I learned a bunch of new material about writing like TEA’s I’ve never have heard of them before It took a while for me to get used to it but now in the 2nd semester I think I got the hang of it.
2. How have you taken an active role in your education this year?
I feel that I have taken an active role role this year by checking my teachers DP almost every night to see if we have home work or to get ahead on what we are learning. The DP are a great tool in taking an active role.
3. What piece of work that you’ve done this year are you proudest of? Why?
My video for roxy's class I felt that was really good blc after the exhibition I over heard some parents talking about it and how that tough it was funny to see me on the toilet.
4. If you could go back and refine one piece of work this year, what piece of work would you refine and
If I had the chance to refine one of my pieces it would be my water filter because I didn’t do it very well I could have done more rechuch and my group could have taken time to building it.
5. If you were the teacher, what comments would your teacher make about your work habits?
My teacher would say you get distracted a lot and you should be more on task

He might now That I talk a lot in class.
7. What is the most difficult thing you have done this year? Why was it difficult, and how did you deal
The most difficult thing I did all year was the POW because I'm not very good at math and with the POWs they are a brain buster .
8. How has group collaboration helped you as a student?
Collaboration has helped my by working in a group of people that I know or sometimes I don't know them. That is rilly good for a project based school because that make us work as a team.
Reflecting on Yourself and Our Model of Education
1. What would you say to an incoming 9th grader about how to succeed in project based learning?
I would say to get on top of your work and try not to let build up because the work we have is pretty well spaced out to where you won't get stressed out.
2. How have any of the habits of heart and mind helped you be successful as a student or person?
They are thing that I look up to and good gidlin to use in your work and outside of school
3. How has a relationship with a faculty member helped you be more successful in school this year?
A relationship with Roxy has helped by getting more freedom to do stuff in our project
4. How has the work in Advisory helped you grow or change as a student, as a friend, and as a citizen?
I feel that my advisory has help me be more settled in my school work and checking my grades.
5. Project based learning is a different model than traditional models of education. Explain how Project based learning has influenced your learning and your production of work.
With my dyslexia I learn better in a project base. Another way I learn in school is im a hand on learner to.
