Geometry POL Update
This year as the year went on I feel I’ve mastered Pythagoras theorem. We did Pythagoras theorem over the semester but mostly at the beginning of the year. I feel over all the time doing this and you gave me a test with other things we did I would succeed at Pythagoras theorem better. An example of using my soft math skills I would help my friends in the geometry class how to understand Pythagoras theorem. Other ways I mastered the Pythagoras theorem. The Pow 3 and in that we used Pythagoras theorem. I got a 10/10 on it and I was proud because that was on of the harder pows for people. That’s how I feel I’ve mastered Pythagoras theorem throughout the semester.
Explorations have changes my math this year by helping me understanding the content. It was changed my experience for the good because learning the materials that were learning in class it helps me out by repeating the materials out. I am proud of the explorations that I’ve done. I’ve mostly gotten B’s on my explorations. Overall the explorations have helped me learn with my friend by how we collaborate.
My math breakthrough was when I was working on a POW 8. I was really proud of myself when i was stuck. I changed my approach with solving it by setting it up in columns. The answer was right there in my face. I got excited and then upset by how long it took me to solve it. How I was excited by being one of the first in my class to find the answer because everyone was having a hard time

Problem-Salving Skills
As a Mathematician I feel that the skill that is me would be Reflecting and synthesizing way before I start on a problem I reflect on it justify for an idea and process, develop rules and connect abstract ideas to real world. Something I can look back on and show you how I used this skills was POW 7. This POW was were we had a deck of cards and had to solve it from the A to the 10. This POW isn't a regular one it was a logic problem. It didn’t take me long to solve it by reflecting on it and finding a plausible equation. Then I would talk about it to the person I would be working with and to see if they had any comment or ideas to the process. After I talk to them I put the process into action to see if it works or not. By translating the process into a word document was a real world example because it taught me how to become a better writer and helped me figure out that math just isn't number and equations. That's a summery about how my mathematician is the Reflecting and synthesizing.
The habit I feel I need for room to stretch is Generating ideas. Although Generating ideas doesn't need to be improved. It would be a great skill to have for other classes in the future in high school and next semester. Next semester we will be making an escape room. That take making formulas, equation, diagrams and brainstorming to make an escape room but most importantly a perfect project. By also mastering this skill it would also help me by getting better grades and hopefully a better future in what I want to do when I become an adult and put into and scenario were I have to use Generating ideas.
